This trip is for anyonewho has a keen interest in rock climbing and would like a very in depth introductionto climbing including climbing and rope techniques, communication and climbingsafety.
This two-day minimum trip will give a very strong and positive beginning to anyone wanting to reach out and enjoy the excitement of the vertical world.
This offers a chance to enjoy the challenges and enjoyments of the vertical world with a day of rock climbing at the Wasootch Slabs.
Here you will learn climbing and rope techniques, communication and climbing safety to help you fully enjoy the vertical world of rock climbing.
Day two offers a day hike in the Elbow Valley area, allowing you to enjoy the breath taking scenery of Alberta's backcountry.
During the hike you will also become familiar on how to use a map and compass, giving you the skills to navigate off the beaten track.
This trip is similar to the Rock Climbing trip with the rock climbing being replaced by a day of whitewater kayaking. During the day of kayaking you will learn important strokes, river morphology, eddy turns and Eskimo roll techniques.
The hiking and navigation section will be the same as is offered in option two.
Day two offers a day hike in the Elbow Valley area, allowing you to enjoy the breath taking scenery of Alberta's backcountry.
During the hike you will also become familiar on how to use a map and compass, giving you the skills to navigate off the beaten track.
This trip gives you the chance to experience all three of these outdoor adventure activities, surrounded by the mountains of the Kananaskis country.
The trip consists of a day of kayaking on the Kananaskis River, a day of rock climbing on the Wasootch slabs and ending in a day of hiking in the Elbow Valley region.
By the end of these three action filled days you will have the required skills to scale vertical rock faces, negotiate class 2 rapids of the Kananaskis River, and have enjoyed the scenic views offered from the hike through the Elbow Valley area in beautiful Kananskis country.
This trip mixes it up a bit, Day one is a relaxing day in canoes learning the basic strokes required to safely and competently control and maneuver a canoe, Day one usually ends with a relaxing evening paddle across a lake in Kananakis country.
Day two and three are combined into an over night hike into the Elbow Valley region of Kananaskis country with a focus on how to use a map and compass in the bush.
If you are looking for a relaxing yet different way to enjoy Alberta's backcountry this is the trip for you.
This trip offers two or more days of whitewater kayaking. It will teach you everything you need to know about whitewater kayaking up to class 2 rapids.
Over the course of the trip you will learn important strokes, river morphology, eddy turns and Eskimo roll techniques.
This trip will allow you to feel the pull of gravity one day, with an introduction to rock climbing on the beautiful Wasootch slabs, followed by a day enjoying the splash of clear mountain water as you learn to negotiate the rapids of the Kananakis River.
By the end of this trip you will have a good understanding of climbing and rope techniques, communication and climbing safety. Also you will be competent in class one whitewater and well on your way to developing important kayaking skills.

If you love water and you love the outdoors this trip is for you. Day one will teach you all you need to know to be in control of a canoe, both tandem and solo and can see you canoeing across a still lake at dusk.
Day Two, the pace quickens, today you will learn all the strokes and skills required to take a kayak down the class two rapids on the Kananaskis River, and you may also find that you can successfully Eskimo roll a kayak by the end of the day.

This trip allows you to really get your hands dirty in the outdoors with a feast of outdoor adventures. Straight into day one and its time to get your feet wet as you learn all the skills and strokes required to control and maneuver a kayak down the class two rapids of the Kananaskis River.
Day two and you change from the water to walls of the Wasootch slabs as you learn climbing and rope techniques, communication and climbing safety to confidently negotiate all the challenges of the vertical world.
The third and fourth days of this trip see the pace slow but not the excitement as you venture into the wilderness of the Elbow Valley for an over night hike, developing skills with a map and compass and learning what it takes to leave the beaten track and make your own EXPERIENCE!!!
