Want to learn to efficiently paddle your canoe? With the highly experienced staff at Experience Adventure Recreation you can. Come, join us for this two-day course on basic paddling techniques.
You will learn basic paddling strokes, rescue techniques, route planning and traveling tips.
It's time to get out and experience areas only accessible by canoe.

Description:
White knuckles grip fast to the paddle as it dips silently into the water, ahead the calm water turns into a churning monster of whitewater, then it begins.
Whitewater canoeing truly is an experience on water like no other. The enjoyment, excitement and adrenaline rush are unparalled and will keep you coming back for more. Experience's introduction to this fast paced sport introduces you to all the skills you need on the friendly rivers of Alberta.
Over the first three days you will be gently introduced to increasingly faster and stronger currents, developing and perfecting your skills.
The last two days of the 5 day course will be spent travelling down the Milk River. During the course, your skills will develop under the watchful eye of Experience's highly skilled guides who will also make sure there are hot meals ready for you at the end of the day.
For a truly wet and wild adventure you cannot let this trip pass you by.
5 day course includes: canoeing equipment, food, tent shelters, camping fees and far too much fun.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Canoeing or Equivalent Experience.
